Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Naperville with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Illinois may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Succulent Seafood at (630) 548-3474; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. John and Peggy are the BEST! Superb customer service and fresh, delicious fish every time. I only get my fish here and drive out of my way to go here. Thank you for the scraps for our puppies! Dixie used to come with me when she was a puppy and ALWAYS knew that when we pulled up to the old location that she’d be getting a tasty snack before dinner!

Visited Succulent Seafood for some sushi grade fish for a party I was throwing and I was not disappointed. The tuna was delicious and the owner even made a few recommendations of his freshest/best options after he heard what I wanted. Additionally, they can special order specific fish which will be great to use in the future! Great pricing, great service, and my whole party loved the sushi!

My wife searched for a local fish market and found Succulent Seafood. We had called ahead and the owner had a pound of Grouper packaged ready for pick up. The two filets had no odor and grilled up just fine. The Grouper had excellent flavor and texture that makes me look forward to our next visit to Fort Myers Beach. I will be back to buy more seafood from this shop, which I found to be modern, neat, and clean.

Succulent Seafood is a fish market. Can't recommend this place enough! Fish is very fresh, so fresh that we use if for sushi. This is the only place we buy fresh fish! The owners operate the store, and they are super friendly - love supporting local a local business!

Went in and walked right out. This was the dirtiest kitchen I have ever seen, not fit for pigs, board of heath should be notified, see pictures. Would you eat here? Owner needs to shut the place down , get new fixtures and make a noticeable difference. I would not eat here if it was free. This is the worst review I have ever written. Seriously the place is extremely nasty. I wanted to take more pictures but did not dare. Sorry to the owner. Nice or not but you are not very clean. Yes I said it..
